Grendon War Memorial
Unveiled on 16 May 1921, the memorial is a Grade II listed and protected and listed on the National Heritage List for England maintained by Historic England.
It is a York stone Obelisk, 2280mm high, set upon a plinth and square base within a designated area. Wreath positioned at top of front face with inscribed inscription to;
6 o'clock face: ERECTED/ TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN HONOUR OF/ THE MEN OF/ GRENDON UNDERWOOD/ WHO SERVED THEIR/ KING AND COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1918/ IN MEMORIUM/ (25 Names, 22 served & returned, 3 died)/ LEST WE FORGET
